Favourites

The Favourites facility enables each user to add the options they use most frequently to an easily accessible Favourites menu.

Adding an option as a Favourite is very straightforward. In all of the main options in the software you will see a Favourites icon (in the form of a picture of a heart) displayed directly beneath the Help icon in the top right of each window.

Clicking the favourites icon in an option will automatically add that option to the user's Favourites menu which will be displayed on the main software toolbar.  

Please note : The Favourites button on the software toolbar will only be displayed when you have added at least one option to your Favourites.

When you have added an option to your Favourties, the next time the option is opened the Favourites icon is changed to also display a star with the heart to inform you that the option is already one of your Favourites.  

Clicking the Favourites icon when the star is displayed will immediately remove the option from your favourites.

To select an option from your Favourites menu simply click the down-arrow to the right of the Favourties button on the main software toolbar and a menu of the options that you have added to your Favourites will be shown for you to select from.

Resetting Favourites

If you want to reset a user's Favourites then you will need to delete their Favourites settings file. To do this navigate to the Avanti folder on your PC (or Server PC if using multi-user) using Windows Explorer. Select the Users sub-folder then select the folder that has the same name as the user's ID and within that folder look for a file called FavSettings.ini and delete it.
